Prayer is fundamental to who we are, and where we are going. It gives us opportunity to commit our requests to God, and a chance to listen for his reassuring and guiding voice. How rich we are, to have a father with so much wisdom and authority, yet a father who is keen to hear our prayers and respond to them! Here at Hope Church we commit to regular times of prayer for these very reasons. We want to ensure that in all areas of our church family life we are giving Him the opportunity to lead, direct, equip and envision.
From September we will be introducing a half-night of prayer each term, alongside a focussed week of prayer each term. These will replace the ‘Evening In His Presence’ meetings for at least the next 12 months, but will be a similar combination of worship and focussed prayer for different areas both within and outside of Hope Church.
