Cell groups
We want our small groups to be places where Christian community is found and worked out. Community is about lifestyle, not just a weekly meeting. Community is created by interpersonal commitments and a sense of belonging.
A small group has a weekly gathering, but its life is actually embedded in the daily relationships and mutual sharing of life which is made possible by its existence. Our small groups need to be drawing others in so we can share community together
The weekly meeting of our small groups (called cells) is therefore not an end in itself but a means to an end, the end being creating an open community, which draws people into relationship with each other and with Jesus.
