Church Planting
If we are to reach this nation and the nations of the world effectively with the gospel we must plant churches. In the UK we need to see substantial growth in the existing churches and thousands of new churches planted.
In the New Testament we see that Philip the evangelist gathered a community in Samaria and the apostle Paul founded many churches in towns and cities, but such well-known leaders weren't the only people involved in church planting. The scattered, persecuted believers went everywhere preaching the gospel. Even the influential Antioch church was started by unnamed believers.
Newfrontiers is involved in church planting in the UK and overseas with many leaders and others moving home in order to start new churches in new locations. These churches are planted under the clear oversight of those with travelling foundation-laying ministries (the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers of Ephesians 4 v.8-11.
