God is speaking to us as a church. We have seen Jesus example and teaching. We have heard that
our motivation is an overflow of the Father’s wonderful love for us.

1.Be INTENTIONAL about your communities
Take time to think about the communities you are already involved in – perhaps neighbours, work colleagues, friends, neighbours at school, or people at the gym. Choose to be intentional in some/all of those communities.  If you don’t have any communities with non-believers, then think about where you could possibly make a new commitment, ensuring its a genuine area of interest for you.

2.Be INTENTIONAL about extra-ordinary prayer
Pray for 5 of your friends, for 5 minutes, each week.  Pray for God to reveal himself to them, and pray for opportunities for you to share something with them.  Be open to the supernatural, God may want to give you a word or a picture for them.

3.Be INTENTIONAL ready with a question /testimony /prompt
Be ready with a question such as ‘have you ever had any faith, at any time, in your life?’ or ‘what is your experience of Christians and the church?’  You can also be ready with a short 90-second testimony if someone asks you what/why you believe. Some people might choose to have a ‘testimony card’ ready.  Finally, think about what you might say if the Holy Spirit prompts you, perhaps something like ‘I feel as though…’

4.Be INTENTIONAL but vary for people at different stages
Remember,  we are all different people with different styles of evangelism.  Likewise different non-believers are at different stages on the Engel scale. Our goal in evangelism is to move people away from rejection of God, and towards recognition / acceptance of Him. Just ensure you stay intentional.

5.Be INTENTIONAL with church – Life Groups, testimonies, Alpha
Share with you Life Group how your evangelism is going in your communities – successes and failures!! Share in our Sunday meetings to encourage others. Consider inviting people to a church Alpha course when the time is right.  Consider joining the Catalyst ‘Disciple Making Course’ with others.
